Our Story
Finishing Touch was birthed in the hearts of women desiring to help others. As they met to play Bunco, they discussed service ideas over dice and snacks, leading to a variety of projects in support of both local ministries and foreign missions. They loved serving the Lord together, but hungered for more.
One day their church reached out with an urgent need. A young mother with two children had been devastated by divorce. She was abandoned and heartbroken. The ladies were asked to make her barren house a home again. The group quickly pulled together resources and transformed the house, attending to every finishing touch. They gave her the gift of home and she was overjoyed.

Humbled and in awe of the Lord’s provision, the ladies knew their calling was clear. A non-profit was formed and named “Finishing Touch,” representing the personal attention given to each home, symbolic of Christ’s value of each person. Finishing Touch began receiving donations and prayed for more opportunities to bless families with the gift of home. And that he did.
Now, over six years later, Finishing Touch has blessed over 180 families. The original group has grown to almost 50 members, including several men known as “Blessing Builders.” God continues to direct every step of the ministry as Finishing Touch depends on him to meet the needs of his people. He never fails to provide in ways far exceeding human expectation or imagination.
